The village maintains all public storm drainage facilities located within the municipality. This includes, but is not limited to: open drainage, piped drainage systems, bridges on public streets, roadside drainage ditches, and flood control facilities.
Storm sewer rates are based on the property’s impervious surface. The average residential home has an impervious surface 1 – 4,000 square feet which equates to 1 unit. The monthly charge per unit is $3.00. Units and monthly costs are calculated as shown below.
