The 30 acres of the Municipal Park include 5 baseball & softball diamonds, 1 tennis court, 1 basketball court, 3 pickleball courts, baseball & softball batting cages, a concession stand & restrooms, playground equipment, a GaGa ball pit, soccer fields (fall season), a pavilion, sand volleyball courts, the public pool, splash pad, gardens, a tree grove, a children’s garden, and Louden Cemetery.
Our neighborhood parks include Robert A. Storrer, Main Street, and Founders Parks, along with several smaller miniparks throughout the community. These spaces include landscaped downtown alleys and the grounds surrounding historic Town Hall, home to the Village of Montpelier’s utility and administrative offices. The Village also provides trail amenities along the scenic Iron Horse River Trail, which offers both rustic and accessible paths, as well as along the four miles of the Wabash Cannonball Trail owned by the Village.
